For our very first Christmas Special at The Palais in 2007, Tex Perkins and Clare Bowditch performed Fairytale of New York, a Pogues song first released in 1987 with lead vocals by Shane MacGowan and Kirsty MacColl. Joe Camilleri joined Tex and Clare for the haunting soprano sax part.
