"These Commercials and Television Shows are a Social History of the way we were
Over fifty years ago, it’s more then a Nostalgia buff can stand.”
-Leonard Maltin, Entertainment Tonight

I fell into becoming the Indiana Jones of uncovering one of a kind celluloid film prints when I walked into the newly formed Paley Center for Media (established to start preserving the history of television in the 1980’s) wanting to watch some of the classic kid shows and commercials I remembered watching in the 1950’s and 1960’s, and finding out they didn’t exist.

That's when I learned there wasn’t a museum or library in the country that housed the complete history of American television, and in most colleges around the country there were no qualified teachers or books written on the subject because the source materials (the film prints themselves) weren’t available to watch and study.

At that time all of TV history and much of film was hidden in celluloid 35mm and 16mm film prints, most of which were thrown out by the studios and networks that saw no value in their old product, and no one bothered to document any part of those that helped create this new medium.

Thanks for tuning in and supporting my work. If you know any Streaming Services that would like me to be apart of their network, please let me know.
