🌟 What's in today's video?
In this full-length, relaxing craft vlog, I show you how I made a miniature copper sink from scratch for my 1:12 scale industrial doll’s house kitchen, using recycled materials and simple tools.
This miniature sink may look like real copper, but it’s actually made from junk materials and painted to create a realistic metal effect. If you’re looking for ways to make miniatures from trash, or want to learn how I made plastic and clay look like aged metal, this diary-style video may be for you!
⚠️ Please don’t copy the techniques I used in this video. I experimented with materials and varnishes without being 100% sure that they’re safe to use together. I couldn’t find reliable information about compatibility between certain finishes and surfaces. This video a creative diary, not a tutorial, so please enjoy it for inspiration only, and stay safe if making your own miniatures! ✨🛠️
Follow along as I create this tiny industrial sink to match my modern dollhouse interior. This video is perfect for fans of:
• Miniatures from recycled items
• Faux metal finishes in dollhouse crafts
• Budget-friendly dollhouse DIY
• Miniature industrial kitchen designs

🪑A little bit of information about my doll's house:
I’m currently transforming this second hand doll’s house, which I bought from a charity shop at my local recycling centre, into a twelfth scale converted warehouse with a miniature modern art gallery below and a mid-century modern / scandi-style apartment above. I document each part of the makeover here on my YouTube channel - from an interior restructure to miniature furniture and accessories... I plan on trying to make it all! If you’d like to watch previous videos, please have a look at my playlist, where you can see the doll’s house makeover from the start!
