Venturing out from Wangshu Inn, we begin our adventure in the center of Liyue. The same lonesome melody that greeted us when we first entered the region is back, but now with more embellishment and warmth, heralding our entrance to Liyue's heart.The veil of mystery still lies thick, but the plains before us unfold with its vast elegance.

A Lantern Rite Journey
Part 2: The Heart of Liyue
This arrangement pretty straightforwardly follows the original, but I add a bit more movement in the left hand to help it fill out more since I'm playing in a slower, more contemplative tempo. And, as you know, I really like additional moving lines wherever I can fit them in.
Some of you may remember that I played Hayashi's arrangement of this a few years ago. I did my own arrangement for this project because I felt like his "exposed" the bass a bit more than my liking and some of the character of the chords weren't how I heard them either. And I'd rather have moving lines in the tenor than slow holds in the bass.
So overall, my arrangement feels like it fits me better (duh), but his arrangement wasn't bad either and provided a nice foundation for this one.
