Byron Lee was the golden child of Jamaica for a period representing
the country at the New York World's Fair in 1964. In a considerably
small period in the Jamaican recording timeline, they managed
to create and capture a vast body of work and were hugely popular
on the live scene. Frankenstein was first performed by the orchestra
in their debut set at the Falls Festival in Lorne. This particular
performance caught the attention of the music industry and the
buzz had begun.
