Blood Circus never achieved any major success outside of Seattle, but during their run, they were a big enough local act that the upstart band Nirvana opened for them on more than one occasion. While they only made two releases, a single and an EP in 1988, Sub Pop decided to compile all their recordings in the 1992 release "Primal Rock Therapy" during the height of the grunge hype machine.
