This man has been pretending to be a traffic police for 35 years. He helps control the traffic during rush hours for free. It all started in 1990 when his sister was hit by a car and died. Then, 6 years later, his entire family including his wife and 2 pairs of twins all died in a car accident that caused the car to flip over.
Left with no one, he was distraught and ended up quitting to become an unpaid traffic police. The city knew about him and they let him work for free. They also give him used uniforms. He relies on the kindness of strangers to give him leaving money.
When the traffic isn't a lot, he would pull his cart around and kind people would stop by to donate some money to him.
The residents love him, they know him since they were kids and he's been keeping them safe. When the couple visited him at home, he even pulled out delicious sponge cakes for them, even though he doesn't have a lot of food at home.
He knows a lot of people and frequently check up on them. Including vendors nearby who all knew him by name. He doesn't like being at home because it brought too many memories. He said that he'll continue working as an unpaid traffic police officer until he could no longer walk. If it brings him happiness, let's hope he continues this job. He does an amazing job, better than the paid ones, some may say.
