After Naseroo and the grandmother returned from their pilgrimage to Karbala, the entire family was filled with joy. The house seemed to hum with warmth and reunion, each embrace carrying the relief of having loved ones home again. Laughter and conversation flowed easily, as if the days of separation had been only a brief pause in the rhythm of their lives. Yet, like a shadow stealing across a bright afternoon, the happiness did not last long.
The journey had been exhausting, and under the weight of fatigue and the heat, Naseroo fell ill. Beside him, Sadegh too began to feel unwell, his strength waning as the day wore on. The grandmother, wearied by the same invisible hand, soon showed signs of sickness herself. Concern replaced the earlier joy, and the decision was made to take them to the hospital, where they could rest under the watchful care of the doctors, the reunion now tempered by worry and quiet prayers for their recovery.
