In this video, I am looking at the potential for using cheap lower-end android tv boxes for playing digital media advertisements within a retail environment. Many companies have adopted raspberry pi as their device of choice for running some digital signage systems, but although a raspberry pi is very cheap an android tv box could be an even cheaper alternative.
In this video, I will be taking a look a look at an inexpensive v88 rock chip tv box for running simple digital signage software on a cheap display.
