The ecotour.kz project announces preparations for the 2021 tourist season. By this project we will organize horseback riding tours in the mountains of the Zailiyskiy and Jungarian Alatau. In this video, you can see how the tours will go!
The most understandable business model for Kazakhstan today is the development of this direction with livestock complexes, as an additional business activity of farmers - agritourism. Everything is simple here, a group of riding horses is being prepared and during the warm season on summer pastures tourist tours, infrastructure facilities of ethno-auls(villages) and campings are organized, a difficult question is the staff that needs to be trained.
Another option is to combine the efforts of travel companies to involve guest houses and gamekeepers in equestrian tourism. The third option is development of equestrian units in our National parks. According to the law, National Parks have the right to have their own horses and provide services to citizens according to the price list.
The task of our group was to lay a possible horse route and conduct observations at different sites to determine the animal population. Wild animals are a "point of interest" for eco tourists, when there are no beautiful lakes and fantastic waterfalls, this can serve as a motivation for a long and difficult trip.
