I just made an OIL LAMP insert for my UCO original Lantern.
The aluminium cylinder I used, is 8,5 cm x 3,5 cm, and bought cheap on eBay. The brass top, I found in a old lamp.
It was burning for 9 hrs. and ONLY used 40 of the 50 ML (or Grams) of the lamp oil before I blew it out. (cost 4,50 ML per hour)
..And the candles I made.. No good!! I think I have to find another recipe for my candles. perhaps some candles with paraffin ?
