Jack Clement was a prominent producer, engineer and songwriter who worked for Sam Phillips at Sun Records. Sam discovered Elvis and both were a very significant influence on the origin of rock & roll music in the 50's and 60's. They both have also worked with some of the most legendary country music artist in the history of music.

Some of the major country musicians he wrote songs for are in the film are George Jones, Charley Pride, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, John Prime, Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagoner, Johnny Cash & others.
