The LP is out Wednesday 13th of April 2022 here: Apart from a few obvious synth sounds, the entirety of the Force Majeure LP is made from some foley-style recordings in my modest home studio. I wanted to explore how far I could take both sampling techniques and extreme effect processing. Here’s a little example of the sounds use to make some the drum kit in Open Wounds on Terra Firma!
(I should have mentioned that a lot of pitch tuning and shifting were done to the sounds in the sampler - and the resampling helps to print the drum bus processing onto them individually, but it was also done to reduce CPU for a liveset)
