Genesis "Squonk" Improvisation/Groove Idea

Shoutout to channel member Tim who had his face-to-face session today and has been looking at this classic Genesis tune - This is just a fun little improvisation idea inspired by the outro of "Squonk" from "A Trick Of The Tail".

It's got 8th notes on pedalled hi-hat, a Bo Diddley/Clavé pattern on the bass drum, and a snare hit on the "+" of beat 4. Once you've got this down, I felt this might make a nice base to start doing some improv over.

Channel members are always asking for ideas about building drum solos and playing creatively - This idea of having a solid foot ostinato and improvising over the top is a great one and I use it a lot!
