genre: contemporary/psych folk

label: Kyoto (KL-2)
a very obscure private press folk offering from Japanese folk band Homo Sapiens that somehow got brushed under many others despite its sheer quality. the first track is intense with shouting/screaming vocals and dense arrangements, the second track and third tracks are pretty typical group folk stuff, though still a bit above average, and the final track is bordering on 8 minutes with a prog-structured folk song that has harmonica solos and more shouting vocals with tribal sounding group chants. very strong stuff from start to finish. i wonder how they even fit 10 minutes onto a single 7".
this is where i'd tell you to support the artists but you literally can't. just enjoy the music, that's as much as we can do :')
