Ukraine Faces ENCIRCLEMENT In Pokrovsk and Konstantynivka

ISW reports that the Russian forces are trying to encircle both Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka. They do stress however, that Russian forces might suffer from fatigue after a year and a half spent on offensive operations. ISW suggests that the Ukrainian side will face big challenges in stopping the Russians. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has stated that Russia should stop hitting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine and also stop the escalation. Friedrich Merz is facing increased political pressure in Germany, to do more for Ukraine. The Green Party has urged him to increase support for Ukraine starting the next fiscal year. NYP has published an article urging Donald Trump to not abandon Ukraine as it would be a disaster for the United States. BlackRock has stopped it’s work on an investment fund for Ukraine after Donald Trump has become president. China has retaliated against the EU, by imposing duties on brandy and medical devices.
