What a privilege to write songs and produce Motown's legendary Johnny Bristol, mister smooth himself. His two part harmony leads are timeless. He joined me and Sylvia Moy on a Detroit TV program to discuss Motorcity. He co-wrote for every artist possible, my favourite being "Secret Love Affair" on The Marvelettes, and "Forever And Ever" on The Monitors. I managed to get him over to England in 1990 to headline our Motorcity weekender in Great Yarmouth. His untimely death was a tragic loss to all of us.
