The new 2021 M1 iPad Pro is now out! In this video I test the speed of the Thunderbolt port on the iPad with a Sabrent XTRM-Q Thunderbolt 3 drive - which is one of the fastest external drives on the market.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the write speed, being just a fraction of what I can achieve with the same drive on a M1 Mac.
