Now let me tell you that the Bible is the most Metal book ever. Jesus Christ is the most Metal person ever, our Lord. Read Psalms 95:1, Psalm 33:1-4, Psalm 150 and many more. The problem isn't with the rock music in general but to whom you are using it for, the ideology and the message in it. Honestly, the devil doesn't care what kind of music it is because he will use anything whether it is hip hop or pop or rock or even Tv or preachers like him to fall away further from the truth. We need the Holy Spirit to tell us what is beneficial for our souls. We need the Word of God everyday to correct and discipline us because it is the ultimate authority, instead of made up rules by men.
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor 10:31)
