nothing is known about the band Footprints (romaji: Ashiato). all that is known is what this 7" record sounds like as of this upload. when i first picked it up i was simply intrigued by the wonderful art on the cover of the release and that was kind of enough to convince me to get it, and it turned out to be really fresh and unique. it uses a drum machine to keep the rhythm on the A-side which is led and concluded by the sound of birds chirping (would like a bird expert to identify what kind of bird it is, thanks!), and the b-side is pretty traditional melancholic psych folk from the cafe folk/rock scene that existed during the 1970s. well above average stuff for the standard, and is most likely a one off release. extremely rare and hard to find.

this is where i'd tell you to support the artists but you literally can't. just enjoy the music, that's as much as we can do :')
