This ain’t just a song. This is my life in a verse.
I wrote this for one of my fam @knowsgoodmusic815 who asked for something real—said they’re battling depression every single day, just trying to survive. Truth is... so am I.

April 2024, I lost everything.
My daughter passed away.
My girl—who I thought was my forever—walked out.
Lost my job. Lost my home. Lost my truck.
All in one week.

And yeah, I thought about ending it. More than once.
Gun in my hand, drink on my breath, voices in my head louder than any crowd I've ever rapped for.
But something always pulled me back. Maybe it was her voice. Maybe it was music. Maybe it was stubborn-ass faith. I don’t even know.
But I’m still here. And that’s something.

Fast forward a year—April 2025—and my music finally starts blowing up.
But don’t get it twisted...
I ain't rich. I ain't living large.
Streams don’t pay rent. Followers don’t buy groceries.
And all those people that said they’d support me? If even half of y’all dropped one dollar... I could finally get some real momentum and keep goin’.

This past year was the hardest year of my life. Still is.
Grief don’t disappear just ‘cause you hit upload.
Depression don’t care how many likes you got.

But I made this song for every single soul who’s still fighting.
If you’ve ever laid in bed not wanting to wake up...
If you’ve ever stared at the wall wondering how it all went so wrong...
If you’ve ever screamed into the void just to hear your own pain bounce back...
This one’s for you.

Keep your head up. Even when it’s the heaviest thing you carry.

I ain’t out the hole yet—but I got a mic, a voice, and a reason to keep goin’.
