The City of Hollywood celebrates the opening of its newest passive park, named in honor of longtime Hollywood resident and community activist Charles F. Vollman. The Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held at 2933 Taft Street in Hollywood.

Charles Vollman Park is a six acre community park located within the Sheridan Stationside Village Development site along Interstate 95 between Taft Street and Sheridan Street in Hollywood. It is a passive park with park benches, a winding walking path, a drinking fountain, pet receptacles, bike racks, light poles and more. The site is also home to an old farmhouse made of coral rock and has a distinctive oak hammock that was preserved in the park construction.
