Philet is living and working in Berlin and his interest in technology and innovation also extends to his passion for electronic music-making. Subscribe here for more: After a few years of intense studio work and diving into (modular) synthesis, he entered the stage to express himself through sound.
His sound ranges from straight techno to broken beat but he always seeks for lush ambient soundscapes to combine with the driving rhythms of his drum machines. Apart from club music, Philet is mainly inspired by early ambient albums from the ’90s and early 2000s.
Having released tracks on a few vinyl compilations, he is currently working on his first solo EP. Philet has played live sets at clubs and open airs or abandoned factories but also developed and performed an ambient live set together with a visual artist at a movie theater.
