We take a trip down memory lane to the time when Gordon Ramsay paid a visit to Flamangos, nestled in the rural town of Whitehouse, New Jersey. At the helm of this unconventional eatery were Adele and Cheryl, a mother-daughter duo who held tight to their tropical vision, even though their restaurant was anything but a paradise. Their notion of adorning the place with a decorative alligator and creating a Florida-style bar in the heart of New Jersey raised some eyebrows.

Under Ramsay's expert guidance, the restaurant underwent a complete transformation and emerged as "The Junction." The burning question, however, is whether Adele and Cheryl would embrace and maintain these changes after Ramsay's departure. Adele is one of the most miserable owners ever on Kitchen Nightmares.

In this retrospective, we'll revisit the episode, highlighting its most memorable moments, and then delve into the post-episode developments for Flamangos, now known as The Junction. Does it still thrive today? What has become of the family that ran it? Where are they now?
