Another installment of our renovations on a 120 year old house in Normandy France. This time we give the front door some attention to stop the winter winds blowing through the various holes in it.
At some stage I will do a full restoration on the bottom of the door but for now, we just want it winter-proof.
The door is an odd size, we can't just buy a new one off the shelf, it would have to be custom made (so that = expensive). I will need to buy some oak, or another old door to salvage the timber from, to properly repair this door in the future.
