First ultrasounds are always so surreal, emotional and unforgettable. I was deep in the trenches of nonstop nausea (whoever named it 'morning sickness' clearly never had it 24/7). I couldn’t even handle the smell of anything not food, not clothes, not even my own family! It was tough... but hearing that tiny heartbeat for the first time made everything worth it.
