So last few days were a bit annoying as I made an update video that was 17 mins long with performances from my last few gigs but then when i finished editing, the videos didn't work for some reason. Anyway ya win some, ya lose some. I can fill you in with this description if you are interested??

So last Saturday I played with a Reggae band in Palm springs and I did a little support solo set and then a 2 hour reggae show, I do love reggae so it was really fun and there was no alcohol allowed, just weed, I don't smoke the weed anymore but I love the occasional edible (they're great for creativity or sleeping). Anyway, finished the gig and thought I'd get some edibles for sleeping. Rudy (the lead guitarist and vocalist) let me stay in his RV which he had at a spot just down the road from the gig which was perfect. I took 2 edibles at midnight and I didn't wake up till 4pm the next day so I had a nice 16 hour sleep on those bad boiz hahaha. I'll be back there doing another gig on the 18th January so come along to that if you're around.

I ended up staying till Tuesday in the RV. Tuesday came and I had a rehearsal with a singer for a duo project that I'm working on so we smashed out a few hours and then had to leave for my solo gig in West Hollywood. I'm gonna upload videos of all of these gigs btw, that's what I had edited altogether with the last video that didn't work.

Anyway, I had planned to go to the Marcus Miller shows Thursday - Sunday and busk the queues but went there on Thursday and realised the queue was in a private courtyard and the security told me I couldn't play so went home and played a bit in the house. I have a ticket to see him play tomorrow which I am absolutely buzzin' my lips off for so I thought I'd go busking today and do my favourite Marcus song - Cousin John.

As per usual I'm playing my Dr Funk Signature Bass by @bassworks_luthiery the strings are dead but I got an endorsement choice, either dunlop or DRs, I'ma try the Dunlop Marcus Millers to see how they go first.
