Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" was released in 1988, unbelievable but true!
Recently it found its way back onto the charts (No. 1 on iTunes) due to the performance of Tracy Chapman (@tracychapman) and Luke Combs (@lukecombs) at the Grammys, which is why I thought It'd be a good idea to do this song now on this channel, too.
Also this week I am happy to introduce you yet again to a new fellow musician: Luca Tarantini 👏👏👏
The both of us played this song live at a wedding of mutual friends last year and I am so happy we got together again for this little video.

Last but not least I need to give some credit to Mary Spender and Elle Cordova who also did a cover of this song a couple years ago. Hearing their harmonies I found it hard to not use those, too. We didn't mean to copy them in any way but I still wanted to give credit.
