US President Donald Trump has addressed Congress for the first time since taking the White House to push his hard-line stance on mass deportations of illegal migrants, with the families of violent crime victims in attendance.
“At one hour and forty minutes, it was one of the longest speeches of its kind, which is even more remarkable, given that Trump has only been in the Oval Office for six weeks,” Mr Dean said.
“Yet in that time, as he himself acknowledged, his administration has achieved more than most presidents achieve in one or even two terms.”
