About the Album:
A true emotional journey, a rollercoaster of sensations that leads us to explore the depths of the mind. The very name of the band, "Fuyumeku", which in Japanese means "feeling winter coming", perfectly represents
the melancholic and introspective atmosphere that pervades the album.
The tracks on "fuyumeku" are a kaleidoscope of sounds, ranging from
suspended and dreamlike atmospheres to moments of intense energy.
Songs like "from desert" and "via lattea" invite us to deep introspection,
while "foglie" and "preferita" offer us moments of lightness and nostalgia.
However, there are also darker passages, as in "elementi", "white rabbit",
and "gabbiani". The album opens with an intro that prepares us for a unique
and engaging sonic experience.
Fuyumeku offers us a mature and personal album, the result of years of
research and experimentation.
Born from a shared passion for music since high school, Riccardo Sberviglieri on bass and Marco Zaccagni on drums have embarked on a long musical journey, moving from more classic sounds to increasingly daring experimentation. After sharing the musical experience with other companions, they decide to embark on a new path as a duo, giving life
to Fuyumeku in 2020.
About the Band:
Fuyumeku are a bass and drums duo formed in the province of Varese in 2020. The band composes instrumental music with a heterogeneous style.
Their sound is a combination of post-rock and psychedelic influences,
capable of creating an atmosphere that is at times suspended and dreamy,
at times dark and melancholic.
