This live cinematic electronic film music improvisation was created to have a rolling ocean waves type of feel by combining polyrhythms in the Moog DFAM and Buchla 208c Easel Command with a rolling arpeggio from a Moog Grandmother. Melody is provided by an ARP-2600 and pads were overdubbed using a Sequential Circuits OB-6. I'm using some eurorack modular synth modules to create space and time in the instruments. I wanted to explore more of this Tangerine Dream arpeggio style layering to create movement through the music. The piece begins with choppy irregular drums and moves through to a more ambient section, then rolls out with the melody stated again.

Patch Notes:
Everything is being clocked by the Make Noise 0-ctrl.
Buchla 208c Easel Command to Make Noise Erbeverb to 4ms Tapographic Delay to X-Pan (controlled by Intellijel Quadrax) to Boss RC-5 looper pedal to Eventide H9.
Envelope generator to both low pass gates.
Sequential voltage to pitch of both oscillators
Pitch is also controlled by 0-ctrl sequence bouncing forwards and backwards
Random voltage to timbre, modulation, sequencer steps, and inverted to waveshape
ARP-2600
Basic normalled patch with oscillators 2 and 3 tuned down a fourth. Spring reverb all the way up
Moog Grandmother
Basic normalled patch with pulse width modulation. Oscillator 1 at square wave, oscillator 2 at pulse wave.
Moog DFAM
Receiving irregular random clock from Stillson Hammer sequencer.
VCO1 to VCO2 CV
VCO2 to VCA decay
Pitch begins going to VCA VC and is later switched to VCF decay
