Rock Man Bass is a Mega Man II concept album, the entire Nintendo video game soundtrack as progressive drum & bass!

Apoplexia is a Drum & Bass producer and radio host from Montreal, Canada. Over the past two years, he’s been working on this full-length Mega Man II drum & bass / neurofunk concept album. Hundreds of edits and revisions later, we are proud to release Rock Man Bass!

The album cover was also a collaborative effort, with architectural designer Iraisynn Attinom from Greece lending their talents to the cyberpunk cityscape based on Mega Man II. Graphic designers Cindy LaBreacht and Chris Davidson completed the album design and typography.

We are especially excited to provide this album on Beatport, the world’s largest DJ focused music store, complete with lossless downloads. Beatport is a curated space, it is an honor to be included in a catalog known for launching careers of the biggest DJs in the world.

GameChops is a record label dedicated to releasing and remixing the best video game music out there. The name first appeared in 2010 as a mixtape by Dj CUTMAN, who later went on to found the label in 2012. GameChops was one of the first record labels to license and publish video game music on platforms like iTunes and Spotify, and works with artists all around the world.
