Tyree Cooper is a Chicago-based DJ and producer who is known for his contributions to the hip-house and acid house scenes in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was born in Chicago and grew up in the city's South Side. He began his career as a DJ in the early 1980s, spinning at local parties and clubs.

Cooper got into making hip-house and acid house tracks in the late 1980s, and quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the Chicago dance music scene. He is known for his signature sound which is characterized by its use of samples, heavy beats and energetic, high-energy rhythms. Some of his stand out tracks include "Turn Up the Bass," "Acid Over," and "Hardcore Hip House."

Cooper has worked with several other artists in the music industry, including Fast Eddie, Adonis and Farley Jackmaster Funk. He continues to be active in the music industry, performing DJ sets and producing music.
