He lay there, a mind trapped in an unmoving shell of what had once been his body, as he had done for untold centuries. He so badly wished to move, scream, call out... anything to break up the boredom that had driven him to insanity and back. He pleaded with his arms to swat away the insects as they tunneled their way into his shriveled-up skin but they never listened. He lay there, in the dark, waiting for something to happen, he knew not what it was but he knew he would know it when it happened. His limbs would be given movement once again, although not entirely by his will, and with that newly given freedom, he would spell the end of those foolish enough to enter his eternal prison.
