Here are my top 5 recommendations for getting started making designs that look nice and print well. Print Curves with Layers: Avoid stair-stepping by designing curves that are printed with the print layers.
Deboss Text: Cut out letters instead of raising them for better looks and more print orientation flexibility.
Add Tolerances: Use a 0.2mm gap (or less) for parts to fit together.
Chamfer Edges: Adds professionalism and prevents 'elephant's foot' at the base.
Make Use of the Print Bed Texture: Design parts to print face down for a smoother finish.
