A live one-take performance on four analog Moog synthesizers, captured directly to reel-to-reel tape spinning behind me. "Shelter in Sound" is my most intimate album to date. If the world feels loud lately, this is your shelter.

"This is definitely rooted in the 1970s Berlin School genre of TD and Hoenig. I would place most of the ambiance around the early to mid 70s. There are influences of Departure (Hoenig), Aqua (Froese), Rubycon (TD), Phaedra (TD) and even Autobahn (Kraftwerk) together with some original Caught In Joy styles that integrate well. However, CIJ manages to incorporate later influences from Rudy Adrian, Michael Stearns, Steve Roach and Jon Serrie. Nothing sounds out of place and blends seemlessly. Well done again CIJ." - @PAC-fp9hy

If the world feels loud lately, this is your shelter — a quiet voyage through sound: intergalactic, grounded, and safe. Rooted in the spirit of Berlin School, with evolving sequences and rhythm, yet recorded with vulnerability and stillness. Inspired in part by the visual poetry of Tom Ford’s A Single Man.

Playing Moog One, Moog Messenger, Moog Matriarch and Micromoog.

For fans of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and slow-evolving Berlin School analog soundscapes.
