
First, he polished the surface of the tiles, then applied a special blue compound to remove dust and fill small gaps. Since he wasn’t removing the old tiles but laying the linoleum over them, filling the tile joints with cement was essential. After that, he spread and leveled another special compound across the entire floor. Using a specialized machine, he smoothed it out and cleared away the excess dust.
Once the base was ready, he began installing the linoleum. It went quickly, except for the tricky parts around studs and wall curves. And finally, it was done.
