NoFun were born in Lucca in 1981 from the ashes of Gas. They play electric, bouncy music, with Andy The latter is forced to leave the group because he moves to England for a certain period; shortly afterwards the drummer also decides to follow other paths. In 1983 NoFun reformed with Grum on drums and Galosc on bass who remained only until 1984. NoFun, with greater experience and mastery of musical and expressive language, settled on a four-piece lineup: Andy on guitar, Linda on guitar and occasionally on violin, Raga on sax, Casio and percussion (bins and ferrophone) and Grum on drums. In the same year they won the first edition of the Rock Contest organized by Controradio at Tenax in Florence. In 1985 Stiv replaced Grum on drums. NoFun will remain in continuous activity only until 1988.
