Peter Tosh was born Winston Hubert McIntosh on October 19, 1944 in Grange Hill, Jamaica.
Along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer, he was one of the core members of the band the Wailers (1963–1976), after which he established himself as a successful solo artist and a promoter of Rastafari. However he was one of the most radical, outspoken type of reggae artist. He has channel this into his music .When an artist can use a Jamaican colorful language (Oh Bombo Klaat) and make a hit song, this is more than just talent . He was murdered in 1987 during a home invasion.
