
I love stuffing mine with queso fresco and rajas—so simple but so flavorful! Crispy on the outside, soaked in homemade salsa verde, and packed with comforting goodness in every bite 😋 Top them with crema, more queso fresco and some pickled red onions 🥰 These always hit the spot!
TAQUITOS AHOGADOS INGREDIENTS:
For the salsa:
► 7 tomatillos
► 3 jalapeño peppers
► 2 serrano peppers
► 2 garlic cloves
► Piece of onion
► 1/2 cup water (from where we boiled veggies)
► Small bunch of cilantro
► 2 tsp chicken bouillon
► Salt to taste
For the taquitos:
► 5 jalapeño peppers
► 14oz queso fresco
► Some corn tortillas
► Some lettuce
► Some avocado
► Some cebolla curtida (pickled red onions)
► Some queso fresco
► Some crema Mexicana
