I paint from paint swirls/splatters so there’s always a liquid element to them but this one had more fish and octopus type creatures as well as bubbly jelly fish. I was originally drawn to the river of lava kind of suspended there mixing in with jagged black lava rocks. Anyways, I chose the title from this great book I read recently about an octopus: Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. A great beach read as well as being just a great story…
