TAMALES DE PIÑA INGREDIENTS:
For the Pineapple Mix
► 1 whole pineapple
► 1 1/4 cup sugar
► 1/3 cup water
For the Masa
► 1 stick butter flavor shortening
► 2 sticks unsalted butter
► 5 tsp baking powder
► 1 tsp salt
► 6 cups masa (I'm using Maseca for Tamales)
► 1 cup sugar
► 1 cup of warm pineapple juice
► 3 cups of warm water
► Some yellow food coloring
► Some corn husks
