One of the "lost" songs of cult NJ band The Calliope! The band used to play it live in 1968 but didn't record it at the time when they did their 2 singles.
This recording features half of the band members, Jimmy Bentley on guitar and vocals, and Richard Hughes on drums. (Bass played either by Jimmy or Vernon Hankins). This was recorded at the House In The Woods around 1975, a real cool place where the three guys were staying, playing and recording! Richard Hughes had set up a 4-track recording material with 1/4 inch tapes in the basement. Richard was at the time playing with Johnny Winter's band. Rick Derringer had played with Jimmy Bentley's guitar (his customized "Stratoblaster") when he auditioned for Johnny Winter!

Hot Under The Collar
(written by Jimmy Mitch Bentley around 1967-68)
Recorded by Richard Hughes at the House in the Woods around 1975.
Transfered by Jimmy Mitch Bentley from a K7 tape copy.
