"1984" is a follow up to the 2022 "Dark Society" album. This 5 track body of work (EP) is inspired by the "1984" classic by George Orwell. The songs are inspired by the book and draw inspiration from it whilst at the same time drawing comparisons to the current state of the world. It is frightening how Orwell's work of fiction, albeit far-fetched at the time, seems now to be manifesting itself in our current reality. The lyrics from the feature track "1984" issues the resounding plea , "Don't let it happen, it's up to us..."
