🔔 Restoring the House of Berna Campaign: ➡️ ⬅️
We invite you to join us on this project for the community, by the community! This project aims to renovate a building in Villa Berna and transform it into a versatile venue for workshops, meetings, training sessions, and cultural and artistic events.

FAQ's: Restoring the House of Berna Campaign

📌 What are the methods to contribute money to this campaign? 📌

You can contribute in the following ways:
👉 Via PayPal in USD:
👉 Via MercadoPago in Argentine pesos:
👉 Via Cafecito.app in Argentine pesos, Bitcoin and USDT/USDC. Visit our profile in Cafecito at .
👉 Bank transfer in Argentine pesos. CBU: 0110721240072102350512
👉 Cash payments in Argentine pesos or dollars.

📌 What is the goal of this project? 📌

The goal of this project is to restore a construction in Villa Berna, converting it into a multipurpose space for workshops, meetings, training, cultural and artistic events.

The space will be called House of Art and Culture of Villa Berna (or simply the House of Berna). It will serve as a gathering place for creativity and connection for the community.

📌 What is the objective of this crowdfunding campaign? 📌

The objective of this campaign is to raise the money necessary to finance a new stage of work (second stage), in which plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry work will be done.

We aim to raise at least five thousand dollars (approximately five million Argentine pesos).

📌 How will the money contributed be used? 📌

Each contribution will be used to directly finance the restoration work of the House of Berna. This includes both the purchase of materials and the payment of skilled labour.

A percentage of the contributions (about 20%) will be used to produce the rewards (the souvenirs we offer in exchange for your contribution).

📌 What are the rewards? 📌

The rewards are a memento or souvenir of this campaign for those who contribute financially. Each contribution level has a corresponding reward.

Visit the campaign page to find all the rewards and make your contribution.

📌 When will the rewards be delivered? 📌

The rewards will be delivered between December 2024 and January 2024, after the campaign has ended. At the end of the campaign, we will have the funds to produce all the rewards.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The shipping of the rewards will be coordinated with each contributor. The shipping cost will be the responsibility of the contributor.

📌 Who owns the property? 📌

The property belongs to Audrey and her family, who are residents of Villa Berna.

They donated this construction with the goal of creating a cultural center and meeting space for the community in Villa Berna. To formalize this donation, an agreement was signed with the Villa Berna Development Association.

📌 What happens if the goal of money to be raised is exceeded? What happens if less than the goal is raised? 📌

If the collection exceeds the objective, this overfinancing would be very good news! The total amount raised (except for the costs of rewards and payment platforms) will be used to restore the House of Berna, so if we have more money, we will be able to tackle more tasks.

If less than the goal is raised, the same: the proceeds will be allocated to the project. This campaign believes "every little bit helps".

📌 How long will the restoration of the House of Berna take? What condition is the house in? 📌

We estimate that we will complete this second stage of work during the last quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, with the goal of inaugurating the House of Berna during the first half of 2025.

It is worth mentioning that the house was abandoned for many years, and was in a state of great disrepair.

With goodwill and a lot of effort, the residents of Villa Berna are already working on the restoration and reconditioning of this space. But there is still a lot to do, and that is why we are carrying out this collective financing campaign so that you can contribute to this effort.
