Last week Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington released Psychic, their debut album as Darkside. "Darkside is utterly sincere," said Tony Naylor in his RA review, "and at its most fractured and psychedelic, Harrington's guitar lends a smoky, mysterious dimension to Jaar's slinky electronica." "Paper Trails" is the record's dazzling midpoint, and in the first RA Sessions film, recorded at RA's HQ, Jaar and Harrington sank a couple of whiskeys and subtly teased the track out to twice its original length.
