Perfect psy bass with Ableton Live (Stock devices only)

Hello internet, I’ve been asked many times if there’s any Ableton live devices equivalent to Bitwig’s native devices I used in my latest psy bass tutorial on YouTube 🧐
Well it goes like this :
- synthesizer wise, poly grid can be replaced with operator (great timbre and extreme flexibility)
- phase shift can be achieved with multiband dynamics after turning the compressors off (can be duplicated to get a 24db/oct slope)
- For the EQ I’ll go with EQ8 (more than perfect for the job)
- Sidechain compression will be taken care of by Ableton’s stock compressor (don’t forget to high pass the sidechain signal from the kick) 😉

And here you have it, enjoy making killer psy baselines in Ableton using exclusively its stock devices 🤩
