A tourist was attacked by a wild monkey while preparing to dive into Yangxi River, Shaoguang, Guangdong province in southern China. During the scuffle, the monkey was pushed off the cliff. According to a witness, the monkey suddenly appeared as the man was about to dive, leading to a conflict.
