We thought we’d knock out a small project to kick off 2025 and continue the interior renovation of our old stone farmhouse - our shared girls room renovation - but, as per usual, the project quickly became much bigger than we first thought, we now need to demolish and rebuild the entire centre of our house! - And winter is just not the time to do that!! No rest for the wicked around here, we continue on the demolition train and completely open up our living area, remove the old bathroom and toilet, and pick back to the bones of our house, show you spaces never seen before, as we figure out which walls are structurally necessary - and which can come down in the inevitable cloud of dust that renovating an old French house seems to be able to produce ad infinitum.
