Patricia Pisters is professor of Film and Media Culture at the department of Media Studies of the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is the author of The Neuro-Image: A Deleuzian Film-Philosophy for Digital Screen Culture and of New Blood: Women Directors and Contemoprary Horror Cinema.
